My name is Isaiah T. Martin III

Every single day, I wake up committed to a mission greater than myself to fight for economic opportunity, safe and thriving neighborhoods for our children, dignity and respect for our seniors, strong pathways to workforce development, and the simple but powerful right to thrive in this country.

I don’t come from a political dynasty. I don’t have rehearsed speeches or polished soundbites.
What I
do have is heart.
What I
do have is purpose.
What I
do have is the lived experience of growing up in this community as your neighbor, your brother, and your friend.

I am not a career politician and I am not here to play games. I am of the people - raised by this community, shaped by its struggles, and now stepping forward to fight for its future.

I am Isaiah T. Martin III — and I’m just getting started.

“Xey has always been the type of person who’s there when you need him most — a real stand-up kind of guy, if you will.”

June P.

“He changed my son’s life with his summer youth program. My child was failing in school, being disrespectful, and getting into all kinds of trouble. After Mr. Martin’s program, all of that changed.”

-Stephanie B.

“I’ve watched Xey give the literal sweater off his back to someone in need. Mind you, he didn’t even know the person — and he didn’t know that I saw him, or that anyone saw him, for that matter. It’s not what you do when everyone’s watching; it’s who you are when no one’s looking that really counts.”
